One cold morning, Theo could not find his blue mitten. He looked under his bed. He looked in his backpack. He even looked in the dog house. No mitten. At school, his teacher said, "Check the lost-and-found box." Theo ran to the office. There, sitting on top of a pile of hats and scarves, was his blue mitten. It had been there all week! Theo put it on his hand and grinned. His warm hand was very happy to see it again.
